Is it possible to display Object Attributes in a DXL dialogue box?

I have tried to create a script that displays two objects in a dialogue box but up to this moment I have found no solution, therefore I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone can tell me if it is possible to display Object Attributes from a certain Module (objects that contain images aswell) in a dialogue box and how.

I will give out any detail regarding my endeavour and answer any questions. I apreciate any support given.

Thank you

Hello nPapp

That is a pretty vague request.  The simple answer is yes, you can display object attributes in a dialog box.

Object o = current
infoBox "Object number is " o."Absolute number" "\n"

Will display the object number in a dialog box.

What you probably want is a richtext field in a dialog box. The following will do that, including Oles.

Object o = current
DB SubmitDB = null
DBE RTDB
string sObjTxt = richTextWithOle o."Object Text"
SubmitDB = centered ("My Dialog Box")
RTDB = richText(SubmitDB, "My RichText field", richText sObjTxt, 350, 220, true)

realize SubmitDB
show SubmitDB

Hope this helps,

Greg
